Based upon a transparent system of color application, watercolor utilizes the brilliant white of the underlying paper for its whites and tints. Even those colors not naturally transparent are thinned out to a consistency that allows a transparent effect.
It is a physical law that when light enters a transparent substance, the rays undergo deflection.
There is a discernable difference in whether the light is reflected straight back from an opaque surface or reflected from the white surface of paper through a thin layer of paint. The layer of color acts as a filter, lowering intensity, but causing a brilliant luminosity.
Identical pigments used in M. Graham Acrylic and Oil Colors, ground to an extremely fine texture, are used in the production of M. Graham & Co. Watercolors. The suggested retail prices of this line are more than 30% less than comparable lines in the art materials industry, making them an extremely attractive value. However, price is not the only factor that sets this line of artist's watercolor apart from all other lines:

 A bit of trivia:

Without bees we wouldn't have honey. In fact, honey bees are the only insects that make food. Bees work and live together in a colony. The Queen is the most improtant bee in the colony, in charge of laying eggs for more bees, making sure all the other bees in the colony are working hard and keeping the colony clean. Bee colonies contain a few Drones who help the Queen lay eggs. Worker Bees make up most of the colony, and in some colonies, there can be as many as 50,000.

(this is important information that you will need to know!)
